Inspire Change is a conscious arts festival leading up to UN International Peace Day and the March for Peace on September 21. The festival and march unites socially conscious and cultural artists, spiritual and indigenous leaders, revolutionaries for peace and justice, grassroots organizations, as well as modern and tradition healers via the arts, community, and action.
Inspire Change celebrates diversity, raises awareness of the paramount humanitarian and environmental crises on our planet, and builds a foundation led by the arts to support the arts as well as health, development, justice, and freedom. It does this by shinning the power of physical, natural, and creative arts to heal, positively express, and transform suffering, by highlighting artists with a socially conscious message to bring awareness to issues and grow solidarity, and by representing international traditional cultures to support cultural preservation and the beauty of diversity. In addition, the event supports and raises awareness of grassroots non profits, socially conscious and cultural businesses, as well as cultural venues and institutions in NYC and around the world.
By bringing awareness through the arts and supporting humanitarian organizations that work directly to make a difference, Inspire Change aims to be an example of a compassionate, sustainable, and peaceful world and to shine hope and inspiration for all to believe and support all the ways to be part of creating a better world. The festival aims to grow and connect the world with respect, love, and compassion and to build a platform of support for cultural and conscious artists to shine their truth, love, and creativity and to inspire world peace.
Proceeds from the Inspire Change festival would go towards starting an umbrella foundation called The World M.A.P Foundation (Music and Arts for Peace) and developing a sustainable system for a better world through the arts led by the arts. The goal is to be recognized as an independent international creative arts government and to become an official UN Agency called the United Nations Music and Arts for Peace (UNMAP). The foundation would benefit a plethora of grassroots non profits that support training socially conscious artists, cultural preservation, peaceful activists, and the integration of modern medicine with creative, traditional, and physical healing arts. By uniting these diverse leading forces we strengthen the foundation for a new system led by the arts to heal, unite, free, and shine love to create a better, brighter, beautiful and more peaceful world.
