The World M.A.P Foundation aims to grow a “coalition of consciousness” as Dr. Martin Luther King describes, united by the arts to preserve what is sacred, heal what is broken, and help the world rise. By bringing together international leaders in the realms of arts, culture, and activism and supporting grassroots non-profits, cultural institutions, and advocating for social change through the arts we can preserve cultures, support development, aide in conflict resolution, integrate natural, holistic, and medical health care, and grow a micro finance based creative economy led by conscious artists dedicated to uplifting the world with respect to human, environmental, and animal rights.
By bringing to light and addressing the issues and obstacles these international activist, cultural, and creative communities are facing in their own worlds and uniting them to discuss solutions, demands to advocated for, and develop ways to be independent of the current political system as advised by leading economists, lawyers, activists, and socially conscious artists, we can finally grow a new system led by the arts to better serve the world as we develop strategies to demand and grow the support we deserve.
Microfinance grants and donations would support organizations that provide education & skill development, that advocate for human, animal, and environmental rights, that support creative, natural, & physical arts initiatives and its integration into the medical system, and that support the preservation of culture through the arts. The foundation would be supported by conscious, creative, and cultural events throughout the year and an online international market with interested conscious and cultural artists selling work with a % of proceeds going towards supporting efforts and growing The World M.A.P Foundation and UNMAP Agency.
An annual conference would convene around UN International Peace Day (September 21st) to discuss how to grow this economy as well as award and invest funds raised from the year and from the Inspire Change festival, which highlights and unites these forces in a celebration and example of a better world and ways to support and create it. During the UNMAP conference we would also discuss the issues and develop policies and plans to advocate for by elected representatives in the global political arena at the United Nations. United we are an undeniable force to be heard and would be able to develop, grow, and protect an international government and sustainable creative economy that functions with respect and is rooted in arts, community, and action.
